I'd reduce the ease of use for the resin printer to 3 or 4 stars given that it needs its own enclosure and dedicated hardware due to post-print curing and fumes. :P

Scale... they're talking about scale when discussing the tiny changes that multiply out to massive changes in time or quality.

Well you could electroplate them with (insert preferred Metal here) that way they could get more time and research from each test . ( Transparent aluminium)

I wonder why the high temp resin wasn't used? That resin is also clear? no? I know it may still be way above the temp but it would last a bit longer right?

This video is just insulting. You did a great job killing your competition you dont need to rub it in. We were so close to affordable at home SLS printing and Formlabs killed that dream.

I love the angle snapping AND the Shift key modifier to snap at 15 degrees. Maybe add Control + Shift for 5 degree snaps?

They ended up not even providing an open material license for my fleet of existing Formlabs printers… just trying to give us pennies on the dollar for swallowing up Micronics, and still they wont even give what they had promised. Shameful.

Micronics has something that Form Labs hooked on. It's not that they have the same vision. Micronics is a clear example of Future Competition. I buy you and make you disappear, that is normal in these Businesses. Ok, hopefully it is for the benefit of the consumer.

I'm glad you pointed out the summary card could be re-docked as I prefer it back there. Angle snapping is good, but if angles could be absolute to the original model orientation rather than relative, that'd be helpful too.

A 3D cello print .... Hats off and bows up 🎩🎻. That is fantastic! There is a chunk that sounded like modest mouse "building nothing out of something" or "the moon and Antarctica " where you have reverb med/large room sized. Warm tones, the woodyist of tone-al textures and there was the most beautifully haunting harmonic feedback, and both sounds slowly dance, sorrowful and passionate....The bit that was played before..... that lovely rendition of the ultra platinum classic "smoke on the g.d. water" ...😶.

Formlabs and the ex-Micronics you should just stop talking about this acquisition. The bloggers and reviewers that got the Micronics unit try to put a positive spin, but it is clear the community view this negative. On one hand this community is not your target audience anymore, because you are a level up in price and quality. However your brand's image might still take a hit. Just stop and keep quite.

Smart move by micronics though, probably realized the product could not be made reliably for $5k retail and cashed in Meanwhile formlabs gets 2000 new customers for their $25k machine by offering it for $9k
